Are you passionate about mentoring teens and creating programs that truly make an impact? We’re looking for a dynamic OST Coordinator/Mentor to lead and grow our out-of-school-time program.
In this role, you’ll design engaging workshops, build strong community partnerships, and create opportunities that help teens develop confidence, leadership skills, and college/career readiness.
This position supports the Center Leadership Team in planning and executing special projects and events, particularly those related to school-age and teen program partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead engaging OST programs, workshops, and events
- Recruit and maintain strong enrollment year-round
- Build partnerships with schools and community organizations
- Will be a mentor with career exploration, life skills, and academic growth
- Track program data and support grant reporting
- Communicate regularly with families and stakeholders
- Supervise activities, including occasional field trips
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 3+ years of experience working with teens (ages 13–19)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for youth development and mentorship
Requirements
- DCF 45-hour certification
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license

Data Management & Compliance
- Accurately collect, track, and report all required program data, including attendance, demographics, and performance metrics
- Prepare monthly reports to meet grant and contractual requirements
- Monitor program outcomes and utilize data to improve program effectiveness and ensure grant objectives are met
- Maintain up-to-date records, including volunteer hours and required documentation
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Maintain program schedules, supply inventories, and necessary materials
- Submit purchase orders and check requests for program needs
- Provide documentation for student service hours and recommendation letters as needed
- Utilize agency data systems and required software proficiently
Team Collaboration & Leadership Support
- Collaborate with OST team members (Aftercare and Summer Camp leadership) to ensure program quality and continuity
- Participate in leadership meetings and program planning sessions
- Support Center Leadership with special projects and events
Supervision & Safety
- Supervise teens during all program activities, including off-site field trips
- Transport participants safely using the program vehicle when required
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and developmentally appropriate practices
- Administer First Aid and CPR as needed
Professional Standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Attend all required trainings, workshops, staff meetings, and parent meetings
- Maintain valid driver’s license and insurance coverage

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (In-person, no remote) - Full-time only.
